Now to the interview! Enjoy!
Hi Jenna, thanks so much for joining us here today! We are so excited to here more about your business!… So can you explain your current career? What is a typical “Day in Your Work Life” like? What are the working conditions like (Stress, Pace, Physical Comfort, Travel, Environment, Relocation, Hours, Routine vs. Crisis, etc.)?
I work as a business and mindset coach and teacher for female entrepreneurs. I support women to clear money blocks, own their worth, get laser focused and aligned in their business and create success on their own terms.
I work from my home office which means I can create my own schedule and flow throughout the day. Typically I start my morning with ease and flow – I journal, pull an oracle card and check in on my priority tasks for the day. Before I check emails or social media, I spend about an hour creating content and working on my biggest project – I always put my important goals first! After that it’s emails, Instagram and checking anything urgent. I spend the rest of my days coaching clients, creating my ecourses and crafting content to support women to create more abundance and success.
What skills or abilities do you think are essential in your job?
Being empathic, intuitive and an active listener all come into play in my work. I need to be able to truly hear what my clients are struggling with, and what blocks are holding them back so we can lovingly work through their fears to help them uplevel. I also have a background in digital content strategy and ecommerce and these marketing skills have greatly assisted me in building my brand and online presence.
Do you have a morning ritual that sets you up on a high vibe for the day?
Yes, my morning ritual is so vital for my day! I always anchor into gratitude before I even get out of bed. I visualise my dream day unfolding ahead of me – the clients I am attracting, the energy I bring and the abundance that is flowing to me. I then get up, make my coffee and sit down to journal and meditate. This is when I hear any intuitive messages that will guide me on my day. I sometimes bring in my money mantras or affirmations, but overall my morning ritual is about creating an abundant high vibe energy and mindset to allow things to flow as the day goes on.
Would you choose this career if you could make the decision again?
Yes definitely! I am truly doing what I love and I’m only just getting started. Supporting women to own their worth, build their dreams and create abundance in their life is so rewarding to me.
Did you know you wanted to do this when you were in school?
Nope! I was passionate about art and writing in school and I always wanted to be an art curator. I even went to university to study visual art history and theory. I’ve changed a lot since then, but always bring creativity and writing into everything I do.
What was the first step you took to setting up your own business?
Investing in a coaching program to get my certificate. I was drawn to health, mindset and wellness in my personal life so I began there. From there I started a wellness blog and developed my passions and personal brand from that platform.
What is the first thing you ever manifested?
Hmm the first time I consciously manifested something (because we are always manifesting, whether we know it or not!) was $5,000 to invest in my health coaching certification. This was the first step to me starting my own business.
what is the next big goal you are working on?
Writing my first book!
What is one of the best lessons you have learnt along your journey?
That you always have the answers within you, and the more you can trust yourself and own all the parts of you unapologetically, the more magnetic you become to your desires.
Do you have an all time favourite self help book that has shaped your life now?
Essentialism by Greg McKeown – I have applied this concept to all areas of my business and life and it’s created huge momentum and impact for me.
What is the best investment you have made in your career and your life?
Putting myself and my dreams first while mastering my mindset. I see the investment in my personal development as being more important than any of the coaches, courses or tools I have invested in to help me. Without this foundation of an empowered, abundant mindset, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
Finally to end things off, what is the one thing you wish people would do more of?
Trust their intuition.
That’s all folks! Do any parts of this job sound perfect for you? What parts did you like the sound of? Let me know in the comments below!
